By: Jalenn Turre, Marketing, Business & Social Media Strategist

Canadians across the world celebrate their pride, history, culture, pluralism and achievements every July 1st. In 2015 it is another day of celebration as it marks the 148th Canadian Day Anniversary with numerous festivities that will be held across the country and internationally.

“Our international teams celebrate #CanadaDay with our Canadian teams, partners, clients and friends across the borders and internationally. Our partnerships are strengthened by our rich multi-cultural competencies and experiences”, said Juntee Terrenal, GMS, Founder of ReloNavigatorSM & Chair of IBBAsSM

“Celebrating Canada means celebrating all that it means to be Canadian—our history, values, and traditions. At 52 ceremonies across Canada, approximately 2,300 new citizens will enjoy the special honour of taking the Oath of Citizenship on Canada Day. Our government is proud to welcome our newest citizens to our Canadian family and encourages all Canadians to reaffirm their citizenship as a sign of pride in our great country.” said Chris Alexander, Canada’s Citizenship and Immigration Minister

Canadians from coast to coast to coast are encouraged to celebrate Canada Day by welcoming our newest citizens and reflecting on the many freedoms, rights, responsibilities, and values that are part of our Canadian identity. Those attending the ceremony will have the opportunity to show their pride by reaffirming their citizenship and extending a warm welcome to the newest members of the Canadian family.
