 “Let us not forget that real poverty hurts: no self-denial is real without this dimension of penance. I distrust a charity that costs nothing and does not hurt.” said Pope Francis

The pope’s message to the crowd on Palm Sunday in the Vatican;

“called on people, including himself, to examine their own lives to see how they’re living and ask themselves “Where is my heart?”

“Has my life fallen asleep?” Francis asked in reference to Jesus’s disciples who fell asleep right before Judas betrayed him. “Am I like Pontius Pilate, who, when he sees the situation is difficult, washes my hands?”

Lenten Message to Everyone Across the Globe:

“SHARE REAL LOVE and AFFECTION to your neighbors is the essence of the message to humanity. Begin from our own heart, and radiate that love to others among us; that will replicate across the world with Peace.”
